SmileLife Orthodontics is located in Corpus Christi, TX and is a 13,500 sq. ft. orthodontic facility. This project involved remodeling an existing structure that was originally built in the 1970s. Angular geometry was a strong component of the exterior to create a visually artful and inviting presence that is visible from the adjacent interstate. The interior was specifically designed to increase efficiency and helped re-examine the relationship of the space with evolving technologies. The space had to support digital 3D oral scans, low radiation digital X-Ray machines, and access to electronic patient records at every station. With these changes, quality of care and efficiency of the staff was enhanced.
