St. Theresa

This is a conceptual design for a Catholic church complex. The scope of the project included a large church for services and a large activities center. The linear scheme of the architecture was developed in relationship to the angularity of a traditional cross with the intersection reflected in a large courtyard. A main objective was not only to create a strong community feel on the site but to also incorporate the surrounding neighborhood. With this layout, anyone looking to visit the congregation is accommodated.
